Today’s mood 🌸 Happy Spring!

I don’t wear pink very much, but I often do at the start of spring. My favorite is a soft, pale pink, just like the petals raining down. ^u^

Speaking of, some of my favorite pink Pokémon! Sakura (Cherrim), Dango (Wigglytuff), & Fauna (Sawsbuck).

BTW, did you know there’s a meaning to the hanami dango’s colors? Pink is for the flowers, white is for the lingering snow, & green is for the fresh, new leaves. 🍡

Dear Diary...

I have too much love that I want to give him. Too much love that it feels a little suffocating sometimes. I can't help it. Any thought I have of him ties back into this love, and then my heart hurts because the feelings are too overwhelming.

That's not to say it's bad! I'm just not used to this sort of intensity. Almost two years of being together, and my feelings grow more and more, every day, like trees or flowers. Despite all our ups and downs, they never go away. Not forever.

I am a little worried about our wedding. I'm thinking we should push it to next year? I don't know. I don't think I'm ready for it.

Well, okay, I am absolutely ready for it. I already call him my husband. That's how ready I am. But it's supposed to be next month, or two months from now, and we have nothing prepared. No invitations, or cake ideas, or where to even have it. I have not even considered a dress or an official date. And we're both very busy, so we just don't have time.

It's a little upsetting. I want him to be mine already, but we still have all these preparations to do before it can happen.

I guess I don't mind waiting another year if it's for him. He wants me to be his too, I think. I feel like I should say "I know," but I don't know. He proves it every day, he calls me his wife, but it has a hard time getting through my head.

Hopefully we can figure out a date soon.

Oh. Oh no. Could it already be..? Why yes, yes it was. Copperhead sighs, pressing two scaly fingertips to the bridge of his nose - not that doing so would help the bouquet of aromas currently flooding his senses. Valentine's Day was coming, but that wasn't the problem. Beyond the sickeningly sweet scent of flowers and chocolates, he could smell that spring was on the way and if it was like all the previous years, he was in for a rough couple of weeks.

I just want to share my joy of having some plum blossoms at home 🌸 after drawing Obito's pretty blossoming kimono, seeing them in my living room is kinda surreal (we don't have plum trees in the area 😅) The buds are tiny and sparse but so innocently beautiful. 🩷

━━ Sakura trees stood at the height of its bloom at this time of the year. A gift nature provided to the land of eternity and it's people. Beyond marking the turn of seasons, it's a timeless emblem that continues to shape the nation’s spirit. Many customs and traditions revolve around it, many of which spark their interest, with sightseeing being their favorite. Perhaps that's why they have found themselves back to the beginning, to their homeland.

After days of endless sailing, with the waves humming melodies beside them, Tomo had at last reached their destination. A wave of nostalgia strikes them upon their arrival. Familiar landscapes soothe their heart, as drifting petals in the wind carry whispers that welcome them back.

They stay at the ship for a moment, enjoying the mesmerizing view unfolding before their eyes while others disembark. Elbows rest against the wooden railing, the kiseru coming in handy for a break. They stay that way for some time, the thin wisp of smoke lingering around their figure... as well as a certain someone's gaze.
